INFORMATION FOR EXTRAS AT FINNIGAN’S WAKE, SUNDAY, JUNE 8, 2025
Check in begins at 7:30pm. Please arrive around that time, dressed for the evening.
Check in may occur in the parking lot between Finn’s and the Silver Moon, or inside the location if weather requires. We will have crew in and out and it will be kind of chaotic, so please follow instructions on where to go (and not go) for everyone’s safety and wellbeing.
We will be checking in more than 50 people, so please be patient with us!
Feel free to bring a couple of friends or family to Finnigan’s - we want the place to be full and fun!
This is an overnight shoot. We will be able to accomodate folks who need to leave before we finish filming (which we hope will be around 2am) BUT YOU MUST TELL US WHEN YOU CHECK IN. We will seat folks based on how long they can stay, but for continuity as we film, you must stay in place until the scenes you will be visible in have finished shooting.
Only those who have checked in, signed a release, and received a badge will be allowed to enter or stay on set. We will tell you when to take your badge off for filming, so unless we tell you to take it off, please wear it at all times.
If you have any questions or concerns while on set, please seek out someone wearing a blue badge or ask anyone with a walkie to contact someone with a blue badge.
Costuming:
It is summertime in the movie, so dress accordingly.
No logos, stripes, or busy patterns.
Bring an extra shirt that looks different from the one you are wearing.
Please wear separates - a top and bottom. This will allow us to swap out shirts if needed to make sure we don’t have a table of all one color.
If you know the group you are sitting with, please wear varying colors that compliment each other and look like you are going to the same place together.
You don’t have to dress up - think about what you might wear out to dinner on a Saturday night downtown. T-shirts, polos, or dress shirts are all fine.
Considerations:
No perfumes or strong smelling body sprays, etc. - we will all be in the same place for a long time and don’t want competing smells or allergy triggers.
Wear deodorant please! See above about being in the same place for a long time.
No weapons allowed on the premises.
Feel free to bring your phone, just know that when we begin filming, you will have to put it on airplane mode or turn it off.
Health and Safety:
We will have folks on set trained in CPR and First Aid, and have a well stocked first aid kit on site. Please let us know if you need anything from this kit or the kitchen to keep you healthy and hydrated during the shoot.
Please notify us if you have any health considerations we should be mindful of such as diabetes, epilepsy, high blood pressure, medications that might require you to get up and move around or use the toilet often. None of these will prevent you from participating, it will just help us accommodate you and keep you safe.
We will have to turn the air conditioning off while filming because of sound. We will do our best to over-cool the space before this so that we don’t get too hot, and will take breaks to turn it on if needed. But please be mindful of this - bring a fan, dress comfortably, hydrate well before you arrive. And tell us if you need a cool-down break! We don’t want anyone passing out.
